Legacy giving

Leaving a gift to PWSA UK in your will

At some point in our lives, we all have to look to the future. If you have a family member with PWS you may want to refer to our factsheet on preparing for the future, which covers trusts and power of attorney.

When we think about how we'll be remembered after we've gone, we hope it's the best parts of us that will live on - our passion and care for our PWS community. With a gift in your will to PWSA UK, that's exactly what happens.

Legacies are a valuable source of income for the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK and help us to continue with our vital work. Your legacy will help us to provide a brighter future for people with PWS by continuing our work to support families who are still coping with the challenges brought by PWS, and to find ways to change the future.

If you would like to leave a legacy to PWSA UK, please tell your solicitor and give him our full name - Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK and quote our Registered Charity Number 1155846.

If you want to discuss this with us beforehand, please do get in touch with our Chief Executive, Jackie Lodge, at jlodge@pwsa.co.uk.

Please let us know if you decide to include PWSA UK in your will so that we can thank you properly and keep you informed about our work.

The importance of legacies to PWSA UK

One of our fantastic parents has written a blog about a legacy left to PWSA UK by her late aunt. Read it here.
