4th - The Importance of Food Security in PWS Care Webinar for Care Professionals. 

Join Professor Brian Hughes (University of Galway) for an insightful webinar exploring body weight, behaviours of concern and social contact in adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome living in full-time care. The session will include a live Q&A with an expert panel, featuring Professor Tony Holland, offering practical guidance and evidence-based insights for care providers.

25th - Parents Get Together: Scotland. Sandra, our new Specialist Advisor for Scotland will be holding an online informal evening session from 7:00 pm for our families based in Scotland.


31st- Northern Ireland Connect. Tracey, our Specialist Advisor for Northern Ireland will be holding an online informal evening session from 7:00 pm for our families based in Northern Ireland.

18th - Face to Face Conference for Adults with PWS. The PWSA Owl Focus Group (OFG) would like to invite adults with Prader-Willi syndrome to a Face-to-Face Conference, with a parent or carer attending alongside them.


The programme will include:

  • An engaging session on staying safe online
  • A guided activity led by the OFG, giving attendees the opportunity to share their thoughts on health, dietary management and other important topics
  • A fun afternoon workshop, with a quiet space available if preferred
  • Time to meet, talk and socialise

26th - London Marathon. We have an amazing team of runners taking part in this years London Marathon. We will be cheering them on at mile 20 and you are more than welcome to join - just let us know!

29th - Wills and Trusts Webinar: Scotland. Thinking about making a will or setting up a trust fund for your child? 

Join us at 6:00 pm for our Wills and Trusts Webinar. This online event will break down the basics and answer your questions in a relaxed, friendly setting. it may feel like a huge step, but we're here to make it easier. We will be joined by expert Pete Murrin from Turcan Connell.

15th - Awareness Day 


30th - Up at the O2. We have a team of 30 fundraisers taking on Up at the O2 on the 30th of May. Keep an eye out to see how they do! 


2026 Community Weekends

We’ll be updating the website with more details soon, but in the meantime, we wanted to give you plenty of notice about the dates and locations for our 2026 Community Weekends. 


15 - 18 May: Skegness Weekend


12 - 15 June: Sundrum Weekend


18 - 21 September: Sandy Balls Weekend

12 - 15 June: Sundrum Weekend. Bring the whole family to enjoy a welcoming Community Weekend filled with fun, friendship, and time together in a relaxed and supportive environment. This is a lovely opportunity for families to connect with others who understand the journey of living with PWS, while taking part in activities such as crafts, gentle walks, social time over coffee, and a special Saturday outing, all at your own pace. A full welcome programme with the weekend’s activities and visual timetable will be shared with you ten weeks beforehand so you can plan ahead, and we look forward to greeting you and sharing a memorable time together.

25th Skydive. Do you want to test your limits with a Skydrive? 

Join our fundraising event at Langar Airfield in Nottingham.

London  Marathon - 26th April

Spaces in the 2026 London Marathon are now filled. If you’re interested in taking part in 2027, please get in touch with us.

Great North Run - 13th September

We have 5 spaces in the iconic Great North Run. You can apply to run in the Great North Run here.
