Tickets now available for Professional Caregivers Conference

17 February 2020

Join like-minded professionals who work with adults with PWS to network, share best practice and learn from leading experts.

Our Professional Caregivers Conference takes place at Venue 360 – The Riverside, 20 Gipsy Lane, Luton, LU1 3JH, on Tuesday 28th April 2020.

The event runs from 9.30am to 4.30pm, with registration and coffee from 9am.

The morning session will include talks from guest speakers Professor Tony Holland and Dr Tony Goldstone, who will be sharing their knowledge on 'What is known about challenging behaviour in people with PWS and the implication for support in social care settings' and 'Medical issues in adults with PWS', respectively.

The afternoon workshop-based sessions will be spent looking at dietary management in residential settings, and the parent/provider relationship. These sessions will provide the opportunity to share best practice and network with other professionals.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day including a light lunch. If any delegates have any specific dietary requirements then these can be logged during the booking process.

Free parking is available at the venue, which is located close to the M1 junction 10. It is also accessible from Luton railway station and airport via a short commute.

Tickets are available here.
